Choosing a date range
Section titled “Choosing a date range”Use the date range selector at the top of the page to control the reporting period. All metrics on the tab update to reflect the selected range.
Filtering by location
Section titled “Filtering by location”Use the location selector to narrow the data to a specific location or group of locations. This is useful for comparing how ad campaigns perform across different markets.
Key metrics
Section titled “Key metrics”| Metric | What it means |
|---|---|
| Spend | Total amount spent on ads during the selected period. |
| Clicks | Number of times users clicked on your ads. |
| Impressions | Number of times your ads were shown. |
| Conversions | Number of completed conversion actions (purchases, form fills, calls, etc.) as defined in your ad platforms. |
| Conversion Value | Total monetary value attributed to conversions. |
| ROAS | Return on ad spend. Calculated as conversion value divided by spend. A ROAS of 5.0 means you generated $5 in conversion value for every $1 spent. |
| CTR | Click-through rate. Calculated as clicks divided by impressions. Shows the percentage of people who saw your ad and clicked it. |
| CPL | Cost per lead. Calculated as spend divided by conversions. Shows how much you’re paying on average for each conversion. |
Reading the data
Section titled “Reading the data”The tab combines data from both Google Ads and Meta into a unified view. If your account has campaigns running on both platforms, the totals reflect the combined performance.
Use the date range comparison to see whether metrics are improving or declining. A rising CTR with a falling CPL generally indicates your campaigns are becoming more efficient.
