User roles explained
Every user on a CyberMark account is assigned one of three roles that controls what they can see and do.
When you’d use this
Section titled “When you’d use this”Refer to this page when you need to understand what a role allows, or when deciding which role to assign to a new team member.
The three client roles
Section titled “The three client roles”Brand Admin
Section titled “Brand Admin”A Brand Admin has full access to the account. This includes:
- Viewing data across all locations in the account.
- Seeing rollup reports that aggregate performance across locations.
- Inviting new users with the Owner or Viewer role.
- Managing multiple accounts if they belong to more than one.
Brand Admins are typically the primary business contact or marketing lead for the organization.
An Owner has access to one or more specific locations assigned to them through location memberships. They can:
- View dashboards, reports, and leads for their assigned locations.
- Filter data by any location they have access to.
Owners cannot invite other users. If you need someone added, ask a Brand Admin.
Viewer
Section titled “Viewer”A Viewer has read-only access at whatever scope they’ve been granted. They can:
- View dashboards, reports, and leads.
- Filter and explore data the same way other roles can.
Viewers cannot make changes or invite other users. This role is useful for stakeholders who need visibility without edit access.
Purchasing permissions
Section titled “Purchasing permissions”The ability to purchase products or services in CyberMark is controlled by a separate canPurchase permission. This permission is independent of your role — a Brand Admin, Owner, or Viewer may or may not have purchasing enabled. If you need purchasing access, contact your agency.
